As part of VLI (Vineyard Leadership Institute) we are
required to be mentored by a pastor or church leader for three quarters. This
is great – only, I am suppose to figure out who I want to sit under and for
what reason… =/
I know I want to be mentored by the Missions Pastor for one
quarter, being a missions nut and all. Other then that, I’m at a loss…
Logic tells me I should sit under the Youth Pastor as I want
to start a youth group at the Sweet Vineyard….
That leaves one quarter open… so what do I do with it?
Any thoughts?

Do you *have* to decide now? If you don’t then wait. If you do, then pick the pastor/leader who has been in the ministry the longest and if possible has a personality similar to your’s. I think you’d learn a lot from someone like that.
Yes, I have to decide now before the end of August. =(
hmm… someone who has been in the ministry for the longest time with a similar personality… That is good advise. I will have to think on that one.

Pick the head pastor that you will be working with in Sweet. That will give you more oportunity to get in step with him.

I thought about that. Only, he is also the head of the church in Boise – so he is very busy and hard to connect with. Then again…maybe it’s worth asking him. Oh knows, he may say ‘yes’…..
